  • Use this fitting when attaching our 1/2" poly tubing to run a water supply to Micro or Drip Irrigation off an existing underground irrigation system.
  • Ergonomically designed to make installation easier and to create a secure fit based on your hand strength.
  • Use the 1/2" male pipe threaded side to attach to a 1/2" female pipe threaded fitting that is attached to the underground sprinkler system.
  • Next, attach the 1/2" poly tubing by first pushing back the locking collar to expose the barb with a built-in O-ring.
  • Next, push and wiggle the 1/2" poly onto the fitting and OVER the built-in O-ring, then under the collar until snug.
  • Now, while holding the tubing with one hand, turn the ears of the collar in a left counterclockwise motion to tighten and lock onto the 1/2" poly tubing.
  • This fitting can be uninstalled easily by unthreading the collar in a clockwise motion, then pulling off the 1/2" poly.
  • This fitting works with 1/2" poly tubing that has an inside dimension of 0.6" ID and an outside dimensions of 0.7" OD.
